This is the time of year when we occasionally experience a power outage and having something other than just candles to light your area is preferred. Then there are the models that are the size of a car battery and can provide 30 or 60 watts of power depending on the model that you are looking at. And GoalZero has just announced a new model called the Yeti 150 which is set to sell for under $400. This model will give you 150 watts of battery power and includes a 12 volt plug along with the normal USB outlets for charging mobile devices. And it only weighs 12 pounds and comes with a solar panel which can be attached. This 12 volt outlet will let you plug in a laptop. This particular model should be available this spring.
