TaskOne Features A Toolkit In An iPhone Case

TaskOne CaseIf you have ever needed a tool when you are away from home, having one to complete that particular tasks gives you satisfaction. But carrying a toolkit of tools is not something that any of us really looks forward to having with us. So, the idea of having a number of tools readily available from your smart phone makes sense. Yes, I said having those tools available from your smart phone. There is a product called the TaskOne which meets those needs. And some are calling it the "swiss army knife case" which does seem to provide an appropriation description of this collection of tools.

We reported on this last year when it was an Indiegogo campaign and it is now available to the public. And it would make a great gift given what it can do. There are 22 tools embedded in this iPhone (4/4S/5) case to meet most of your needs to fix, assemble, tighten and a number of other things that you can probably think of. There are wire strippers, a knife which can be used as a saw, screw drivers, wrenches and even a bottle opener.

On the technical side of things, you might think this would add a lot of weight to your phone. But the TaskOne only adds 89 grams (about 3.14 ounces) and adds 5 mm (about 0.2 inches) to the thickness of your iPhone. And the case is made of aluminum and polycarbonate materials making it sturdy to use with each of the 22 included tools. If you have ever used multipurpose tools, you understand how valuable it is to have all the necessary tools in a single unit. The TaskOne delivers those tools to you.

Here is a video showing the TaskOne iPhone case being used to assemble a dining set without any other tools. This is a versatile tool that can handle jobs when you need it to and don't have tools available. If you have the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4/4S, you should take a look at the TaskOne case. You can buy your own TaskOne iPhone case for $99.95 and have a wealth of tools included in your smart phone case. The colors of black, grey and red are available now.

Toolbox In An iPhone Case From TaskOne

TaskOne iPhone Case
Have you ever been out and needed a tool to fix something quickly? If you are like most of us, you have encountered a situation where having a screw driver handy or some other tool would have given you what you need to fix something. Most of use travel with one sure thing. Our cell phone. If you are the owner of an iPhone, you may soon have the ability to carry around some tools to help you out in those situations where you need to fix something. Enter the TaskOne iPhone Case. This is a product under development with crowdsourcing as the funding to get it off the ground.

The TaskOne case is on indoegogo.com which is a funding source similar to KickStarter. While they are not quite yet at the half way mark in their goal of getting $32,000 for funding, it does seem likely that they will make it. The TaskOne case will fit the iPhone 4 or 4S and the iPhone 5 when released. And is expected to be delivered some time in April for those who are investing in the start up. As you can see from the picture above, it has a wide variety of tools built into the case. 16 tools to be exact and there is a video showing off a number of features of the TaskOne case.

The first TaskOne cases to be delivered by April will be black with additional colors of Slate Grey, Cherry Red or a limited edition Orange Flame coming after that. It is too bad that this is not already a product on the market as it would make for a great gift during the holiday selling season. Watch for this one to come to market.

This future product needs support to get it off the ground and you can participate in the funding by making a pledge at indiegogo.com for TaskOne.
